Does anyone know anyone at Dallas Mustang?

I'm getting a little frustrated.. They have had my mustang for over a month going on 2 months for a tune and dyno. I had a problem with it cutting out and they said they would fix it.. Not sure who to complain to.. I really want to get it fix prior to bringing it home..

Todd, How much time did they originally say it would take? Have you confronted them about this ?

They originally said they would get me in so I brought it over... I call every 2 days and have not caused a stink yet. I just want it fixed.. Always a statement to give them a few more days and they would get right on it. They seem to do a little here and there, but no consistent work. It's not like this is a restoroation or anything.. I just wanted a good tune ont he dyno.

Well, I'd start snooping around for another dyno place so when you approach Dallas and you don't like their reply or lack thereof, you can make an immediate decision. I'm sure there are other "hungry" dyno places.

I think it was the supercharger that intrigued them...anyway, I'm calling on Monday to talk through it. Archie is the guy who is working on it and would rather not complain to him as he is the guy working on it. I think this is more of a business issue over-booking.. I prefer complaining to the guys that run the place, but don't know who that is..

Todd,
I agree that the issue sounds like it's at the top, so talk to them. Since this has been pushed out more and more, you have all rights to be very firm telling them that if they can't take care of your car within 2-4 days, you will pull it. Meanwhile look around for another dyno house.

The old KCM, now C&S, is not too far form DM. C&Sis on Ave. K in Plano, just down the road from me. They tuned & dynoed a friend of mines Cobra kit a couple of years back with no issues. Not knocking DM in any way just adding options as it is a great time to be cruising in the classics this time of year.:

If you do go to C$S, bring lots of $$$$$$ and your own lube...... Sucks that there really isnt a decent shop in the metroplex.

I work 2 miles from C&S and go over at lunch sometimes to see what they have in their shop. They have a full house right now. I think Gary said that they are turning away cars (putting them on a list) right now.
