Dear Stangfix

If a man "finishes" a project his wife (SWMBO) would then expect him to spend more time doing things with her. Excuse me for avoiding shopping trips and lunches with her friends and instead hanging out in the garage (now new shop!).
That’s exactly why you have more than one car project, plus man cave updates, fixing anything except what the wife asks you to do etc :)

I refer to my wife's sister as "the other woman" . She never married or had children, very independent and well-traveled but not one to bring anybody home, so there's never been a man to hang his hat at her place about 5 miles from here. She loves me, though, does lots of stuff for my kids and shows up with our favorite snacks etc in bulk. And she's family. My out-laws (haha!) have always been excellent people and the old folks live well over a hundred miles away. So I take care of sis-in-law's place from remodeling to maintenance to grounds keeping, and aside from my own place and the car habit it keeps me busy. At least she has a newer Ford and takes care of her minor vehicle maintenance.

You make the rest of us look bad. Is that your goal in life? Lol.

I’d admire your good heart, I try everyday to be a better Christian…I’ve been jaded by many things in life like all of us, need to constantly remind myself of all the blessings.

I really need to do another Mission trip.

So glad you’re here. If you belief in right and wrong, you’ll leave VMF lmao

Keep being you brother. :)

All the broken-down stuff, hardship, struggle, heat, bugs and rain make me complain a whole lot and don't make me feel very Christian sometimes, with my first-world problems and all!
I stay pretty busy I guess, keeps me outta trouble, but I have my lazy spells where I convince myself I'm just getting over the soreness with another anti-inflammatory or taking a day now and then because I'm tired of being dirty, sweaty with burning eyes, just plain tired.
I live a rather solemn DIY life and don't have many friends per-se but the online Mustang community has given me a kinship with a lot of highly intelligent, hard-working, witty and good people the majority of which I may never meet but to know you all are out there, I can learn from you and stay motivated sure helps. And I can't help but get to take a tremendous interest in many of your well-being. I miss the guys that have come and gone, I'm happy for the guys pulling through, looking forward to the challenges I know will be met and won.
Subpar63, gwstang, zray, wayne clark, and ALL the guys recovered and recovering, now and after that needed somebody to hand them a prayer tool while they were down, offer a hand to come on back up and a virtual cold beverage when they are is what it's all about. The Mustangs are what bring us together and what we drive but we're really driven inside and by one another.
Would someone please hand me that lock washer I dropped and rolled all the way...
Aww, nevermind.
