Dare I say.......Its done? With a few more pics

Probably not but its really close.
After purchasing the car more than 18 years ago we took it out for its first shake down run last night. We are about 15 miles from the shore of Lake Ontario. We were able to get a little late day sun and my 16 year old son took some pics. Made it there and back without any major issues. The 390 needs to go back to the engine builder Thurs morning to take care of a noisy lifter. Crossing my fingers that is all it needs and I can get some nice easy miles on her before the weather turns.
Thanks for checking it out
Jeff

Thanks so much for the kind words.
What we thought was a bad lifter making the noise turned out to be an easier fix.(That's a first) One of the rockers just needed to be shimmed .0075 laterally to keep the push rod from hitting the intake. Now it sounds good. I took the day off Friday and have driven about 400 miles throughout the weekend! What a friggin blast. Still some tuning and wiring issues to work on but overall I'm really happy with how it drives. I wish it didn't take me so long to get to this point but now that we're here it is sweet. I'll try to get my sons to help me with a video to share.
Thanks again everyone.
Jeff
