Custom throttle linkage ..help!

I will look locally and see what I can find. They kill ya on shipping for the small parts.

That speedway part does look slick.

I hate thinking about ordering small parts that only cost a few dollars and end up spending twice as much on shipping. Thats why I was happy to learn about free shipping.

Well if you want to drive 2-3hrs... there's a Grainger store in Pensacola. :lol
Might be able to call them, order through the store and have it shipped to your house for free like I did.

hey you should try ordering mustang parts to Australia sucks big time shipping is expensive especially if the items heavy then you have to pay import taxes on the item which is 10% if its over $1000 :cry

Pete, there are graingers all around here. If you choose to go that route, give me all the part #s and I'll ship it cheap via USPS. As a matter of fact, I have a box I'm supposed to be sending to Mid that hasn't gone out yet because I suck. It's a flat-rate box, so as long as I can fit the parts in that box, they'll ship for free :)

let me know.

nice job Kat, your building a car but your also building experience. Soon people will be coming to you for advise. keep up the cool little projects and again nice work!

Way to go Kat. You got great help here. This is why I love this place. Great advice and everyone is always willing to help.

Wow, Kat needs a new title, "NO FEAR!"

Don't find the right ones in Grainger. All of theirs appear to be more like the bulky joint. Still looking though as it appears no one locally has any.

Finally found the ones I need. Took a picture around to several places and even after asking for the same name, a guy at Car Quest says yep, we got those after seeing a picture. Part #DOR 115-002, throttle ball joint.

Had to finish this task since Kat started this....she couldn't just quietly go about doing things....about the fourth or fifth one I have made for different cars I have owned.
