Custom Missouri plate

Saw an ad on CL and I guess a Mustang club in St Louis submitted a custom plate for Mustangs in Missouri. Looks interesting but I don't know if it would work like a classic plate.

It's official, the Mustang Club of St. Louis' application for a new Missouri Mustang Specialty License Plate has been approved. The final plate design has been sent in to the Department of Revenue and is being proofed right now. You can download the form here to apply for the new plate. As soon as we have 200 applications for the plate they will start the production process. If you have any questions about the plate or how to order one you can contact Sharon Richardson through her email address: roushpony@att.net

That's what I don't understand, in TN (and many states I'm guessing) you can't personalize an antique or classic plate :wtf ?

Of all the plates they would collect more revenue on for customizing I'd think most classic plates would be personalized by their owners.

I agree, most classic owners would personalize their plates. I would if the personalize classic plate were the same as the regular plates. I like the fact I never have to go to the DMV to pay for registration every year/other year like my modern vehicle. :thu

Same here, I have a permanent one time payment plate, if I could have ordered it with personalized letters I would be happy to pay an additional $20/yr. to renew a personalized plate that I could keep as long as I renew. I pay an extra $55/yr. to renew my wifes SGK plate (only $15 of that goes to SGK unfortunately).
