I won't mention names but a Fellow Stangfixer and I have discussed kelsey hayes calipers over beers and he says that back in the day that they were nothing but a maintenance nightmare. I am courious, has anybody had any maintenance issues, leaks, pistons sticking with the new KH type CSRP calipers when used with Dot 3/4 fluid? I know that they have plated pistons, not stainless pistons like other kits out there. They have been out for a while so it would be good to hear some real world testing and feedback. My 66 is a way from being back on the road but it will either have CSRP granada or Kelsey brakes... I am just undecided on which kit to use. A main reason for going with the KH style kit is the smaller hub diameter as I want to run 15" argent steel rims with chrome acorn lugs ala 65 GT350 and would like to have matching rims front to back... granada fronts would require the later rims which would have too large an opening in the rear over my 8" axle... Thanks...
