Couple pictures of the vining purple flowers I talked about in the spring.

The picture with the truck in it is from seeds that fell last year---the ones on the back of the garage I planted, last years were larger because this year we are really short on rain---still pretty vines.

Nice. Ours have not taken off that well.....the rain here "over watered" a few. We have two that seen to be headed in the right direction. Linda has pulled several seed pods from what we have.

I predict a little more " over watering" in a couple days Pete.

Ya think.......hopefully it will remain calm.....and not live up to the worst predictions.

Y'all Florida boy's battening down the hatches? I was supposed to fly down there this week to pick up Dads Bullitt in Port Charlotte (he passed away in Jan) but I think I'll wait a bit longer! Stay safe! Kip

Forgot to ask, what kind of flowers are those?

Pete and Randy maybe but for us located in the center of the state will just fire up the grill and pop a cold one and watch it go by. :beer

Actually up here we leave the pods in place till they turn brown(after it freezes usually) and the seeds are black like they were when I sent them---they are a tropical vine I was told so I think they would thrive in wet, warm conditions.

The pods turn black and dry on a regular basis. Seeds are just like the ones you sent.

I wonder why they didn't get bigger?? On a regular year with some rain these would be considerably bigger.
