Convertible on ebay

Doubt it's a Katrina car. It was last registered and inspected in Texas in 96.

Looks like it sat under a leaking tarp for a long time. Flood cars will usually have grass and leaves stuck in the radiator fins and every crack and crevice.

It does look like it was somewhere wet. I don't think it was submerged but I don't think it was kept out of the elements either.

+1

If that car had been submerged in katrina, you would see mud & water stains in the cluster & radio plus the whole interior would have been ruined. i did a 52 JAWA motorcycle that was submerged in katrina & it was a real mess. it looked as if it had been dug up out of a mud bog after being buried for 50 yrs.

it looks as if it has been outside in the weather & somewhere really hot too.

Geez... up here, that's a keeper!!

I got a kick out of seeing the "Ziebart" plugs in the rockers... My Dad had a little body shop and hated that crap. Didn't do a bit of good, and made it miserable (smoke/fire) to cut and weld patch panels in...

Oh I'm definitely not buying. There's a lot of better cars out there. I've been restoring Mustangs for a long time and don't remember having one with all 4 wheels locked up and "sticky" switches in the dash. Something's up with this one.
