Oh great, fly to New York and check into a luxury hotel so you can spend 24 hours *not* eating, and sitting on the crapper. For those who have not had the pleasure, this is the central experience of a colonoscopy, that you must spend the previous day guzzling an industrial strength laxative so powerful you must fit seatbelts to your commode to avoid a launch into low earth orbit. The procedure itself is similar to taking a nap.
I think its how they recycle industrial waste.

Yes, and to make matters worse, I had to water it down by half just to be able to drink it without puking. I ended up having to drink twice the amount. After all that, coughing meant a trip to the bathroom to avoid possible surprises.

Yeah, mine was akin to going down to the Santa Monica pier, sticking a straw into the water under the boardwalk and just start sucking.
Surely with America's geniuses, they could think up something that tastes better but gives the same results...
