Cleaning Day

Things I've learned. The US domestically sold 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO was really an imported version of the Holden Monaro built down under.

Was yours repainted? Noticed the shock tower color was much different than the fender.

Yeah I repainted it just after I bought it. It was originally the lighter green in the engine bay. The new colour is a Holden colour but from a 2022 model. Called poison ivy and is a pearl. Pain to paint but it covers well.

I always planned to paint the bay if I had to pull the engine. But hasn't happened yet.

Forgot to mention the Pontiac G8 was also one of ours and the US Camaro (2010) was designed here.

This was the last Ford designed and made in Oz. Ford closed shop here in 2016 after the government stopped giving them 400M per year to stay open. They made some quick cars in the day.
