Cancer Sucks!

Had my 3 week visit with my Doc today. 7:30am got my port accessed and blood drawn. 8am had the CT scan. Went and had breakfast at Perkins and then went back at 10am to see the Doc.
Good news...CT scan showed all clear. Nothing of any concern showing up! Blood numbers are all on a Northern track and my platelets have gone up from 73,000 to 83,000. That means NO needle jammed into my bone to check the marrow health (Waaa hoooooooo). One more round of pills only and then maybe add IV in the next round. So round 9 starts tonight, but if it goes as well as the last round, I'm golden.
Don't have the CEA number yet, although I can't imagine it going up with all the other good news.
Best part of the last few days is that the new engine is safely back with the car! Not IN the car, but within inches of it.
