A local friend of mine has gotten the muscle car bug and is actively searching for a first generation Pontiac Firebird. If anyone here can assist it would be appreciated. Preferably a Formula 400 car, but not exclusively necessary. As close to stock as possible, driver class/condition. PM me with any deals you find/know of.

I'll keep my ear to the ground but anything I find would likely be in Houston.

I haven't been keeping tabs on Craigslist much lately...been busy with tax season and the few times I've gotten on there my buddy who runs a shop has a customer trying to find a 1st gen Camaro

I've barely had time to get a few things done to my TA lately between the boys' baseball and tax season [nb] PS, my TA can catch the PT Cruiser [/nb]

I'll run over and check out the Firebird website though just to check.

1967 Firebird. Factoy 400 (block only) Car with a 4 speed (do not have transmission). Somewhat rare. Has been sand blasted. Very nice solid body ready to be built. I have a 400 block that will need to be dipped I can not gurantee the condition of this block, but it is belived to be the original. 67 numbers did not match so I can't be for sure. This one looks pretty nice but I have to admit I am skeptical of people who just painted a car and turn around to sell. Often screams to me, I put a cheap paint job on it so it will look good to sell.
