
Thanks to the wife for finding this recipe, very simple to make.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Crisco Pure Canola Oil or 1/2 cup Crisco Puritan Canola Oil with Omega-3 DHA
4 to 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 lb. bow tie pasta, uncooked
3 tbsps. fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped Italian or large leaf parsley (plus more for garnish)
1/2 lb. sliced smoked salmon
Salt and pepper
Thin lemon slices for garnish
Directions:
HEAT oil in a skillet over low heat; add garlic and onion. Cook until soft. Add green onions, stir and set aside.
COOK pasta according to package directions; drain well. Put pasta back in the pot it was cooked in. Add garlic and onion mixture; mix well. Add lemon juice, parsley and salmon; mix well again.
SEASON with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices, if desired.
