Having trouble getting an avitar set up, what am I doing wrong? Trying to upload a pic of Amber from my PC but it is not working.
 
I think you have to load it to a photo site first, then on to here. You can use this photo page on Stangfix or like I do,,,photobucket.
 
Actually, you should be able to upload an avatar from your PC. I don't know what the size limit here is, but I try to keep mine 100 x 100 pixels or less.

I just click on "I will upload my own picture", and browse to the file on my PC. Don't forget to click "change profile" at the bottom right to save your changes.

Sig pics you do have to host, IIRC.
 
Yes, you can upload your own image file from your local drive. Size should be 105 x 105 pixels. I think the program will resize it to that automatically - so if your image is not "square" it will become skewed. I don't know if there is a data size limit or not, but try to make it as small as possible. For example, mine is 23kb.
