The NorCal dude from Belgium
Finally got the time to tackle the conversion of my 67 instrument cluster.
CMAYNA and others dudes inspired me but I wanted to do this better.
Any comments are welcome , even the bad ones.
This is done many times before but I wanted to show how I did it.
It took quite some time and many measurements , but my son made a .dwg file with all the dimensions for the base plate which is of metal.
I drilled some holes for the turn indicators lights /brake light / high beam light and wiper switch.
The ring that holds the glass of autometer gauges were removed and taped in with metal tape used by A/C technicians.
I reworked the cluster with a "dremel" but I did cut only the very neccesary so the cluster holds the meter a bit too.
Next were the "light caps"
to be continue...
