Anyone shown their car at a GoodGuys show?

The show is in Dallas this weekend. I really dont want to sit out there all day, for three days. Can you register for just one day? Tickets are $17 for spectators, I figured it would be cheaper to register the car for the show....

I have done the Goodguys show in Nashville. I went all 3 days. Sunday was a waste unless you know your winning a trophy, hardly anyone there. Saturday was the biggest crowd and show cars. They have a lot of stuff in the midway, swap meet and cars for sale too. It was a real good time, I'm going to the GoodGuys show in Beach Bend KY in October.

we go twice a year, it's cheaper to enter the car for 25.00 than go as a spectator and pay parking and entrance fees. we usually only go for the one day Saturday It's a great event like Tarafied said between the swap meet, car corral, and of course all of the killer show cars it's a real blast. we get thier real early to get good show parking polish the car and then disappear all day long checking out all the cool stuff.

I know the times I've been to the show cars have come and gone, they have it at TMS here, so they will occasionally take some cars on a parade lap around the track, which would be cool. I was thinking maybe Sunday would be the best day. I checked the website, but it seems like a three day registration, which is like $80.

Soooo....you can sign up for just one day (Sat.) and leave at the end of that day...right??
yes, in fact you have to leave around 5pm. At least at Nashville you can't leave your car overnight even if your their all 3 days.

ours is a two day event, $ 25.00 for both days and you can show for one or both days your choice, ( if you win an award you have to stay for the whole day on Sunday) they close down the show site at night so all cars have to leave. we don't have track events at ours ( Pleasanton Ca.) so that may explain taller pricing for your event.
