Anyone know where I can buy a thread tester?

Anybody know where I can buy a thread tester like the ones you find in auto or hardware stores? I have alot of extra bolts then I wanna identify and seperate.
 
Buy a hand full of nuts at the hardware store.....label as you buy.....

Got a tap and die set? That works too.
 
A good parts guy would be able to find one for you. Hardware stores sometimes sell them as well. Otherwise, I prefer a tap/die set:)
 
There is much cheaper on eBay than the one above. I also just use the tap and die set with the thread gauge.
 
I bought mine right off the wall at Ace Hardware. Think I paid $40 or $50. Has all common sizes on it. I sometimes use the tap and die set also.
 
Funny...when I read the title, I was thinking you meant a tool to test a forum thread...

And I thought he was doing upholstery work and wanted to test the strength of sewing thread!
