Anyone going to FFF at Knott's?

I'll need a place that can handle my rig. I'll trailer Trouble over, but will be driving it once I'm there.

Lauri - trailer space won't be a problem for Knott's. The Hotel we have been using has a trailer friendly policy, and I've trailered down a couple of times, though I have a smaller open trailer than your enclosed rig. Adjacent to the hotel is the long defunct Wax Museum with a huge parking lot if you wanted even more room to maneuver.

I haven't seen this much chatter on "next years" Knott's in a long time. :yah It brings a tear to my eye...maybe it's good karma rising from the ashes of the 50th...

Maybe it's from the fumes of that burrito you ate last night? :dun

Yeah, definitely shooting for next year. Vince hated that he couldn't get out for Knott's last year or this year but medical stuff intervened. Toni, Glenn and I did our best to convince him that Charlotte was an option but he just wasn't feeling up to it. Still, we had a good time and he appeared to want to make Knott's a priority for next year.

My plan is, if I haven't moved to Oregon by then, to drive the D-coder down. Otherwise, I'll fly in. Been spending too much car time on the east coast, or so I've been told. Heh!

I'm really looking forward to it, especially since I'll be bringing Trouble to show off. After the LV bomb, I need something to look forward to. Of course, there is my club's MCA National in Tucson, March 27-29th before Knotts.

Oh boy, headed to Dallas for an MCA Board meeting. Should be interesting, especially when the topic of Las Vegas comes up.

Three adjectives describe the 50th at Las Vegas: disorganized, dysfunctional, and lame. Check out the comments in the forum on the MCA website. I'm headed to the Board meeting right now, more afterwards.

LV bomb? Care to elaborate?

The 50th at Las Vegas appeared to have been run by someone who'd never done an event before.

Opening ceremony was an embarrassment; Show was spread out over the huge expanse of LVMS, vendor section was a good 25 minute walk from the main cars; There was NO signage (not required if everyone was on the same field) so you were left to your own devices to figure out where everything was; registration materials were located off site (!) 20 miles from the track at the host hotel. Ok maybe if you stayed at the host hotel, but otherwise a total pain in the a$$; I could go on but those were the main ones.

Back to the original subject, I'll provide the late night entertainment if I go to Knotts, assuming I can still fit in the .............

Knotts was fun. Anyone know who had the blue 67/68 fastback with the 351 cleveland motor?

No, but I know of this Green 68 fastback that has one.........
