Anyone close to RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA, 92688-2044 and maybe willing to help me out.
Contact me per PM.
Its not something urgent but I am looking for some possibilities I can use for the future.
Thx .

I'm an hour and a half away from that location. If it's important to you Bruno, I would be more than happy to make the drive.

Let me know.

and close to NPD in Ventura ?
Just checking and thanks for the offer .Appreciate it !!

Anyone closer ?

OK, what the heck is in Rancho Santa Margarita that's so important Bruno?

I know of this Mustang guy, who might chime in, who travels to Ventura all the time.

OK dudes, here is the reason.
As you all know or not , I also have a 67 convertible laying around for almost 16 years now.
I drove the car for about 5 mls and noticed that the front right wheel was angled.Alot of camber but in fact it was the spindle being bent.
In those days ( 1994-5 ) there wasn't much parts laying around here in Belgium and I was new to the hobby.
During disambling the car , I noticed more and more and decide to disamble the car complete. You don't know what I found out !!!!!
I made a list of parts I needed and worked after hours to finance all this.
During the next couple of years , I gatthered the parts I needed ( read expensive ) .
10 years ago , my friend and I repaired the floor and in that period I noticed something ,but didn't pay enough attention to it , which I later regret.
About 5 years ago , I started restoring the cowl.( Meanwhile I noticed that the car had been in a accident because the right front cowl was damaged so the left rear outer wheelwell. All went well , so next I put on the doors and fenders/hood to align the rear quarters and taillight panel.
And at that point trouble started.I couldn't align it all properly as it seems that the car was about 1/2 inch SHORTER. What the heck is this.
To make the story shorter ( and for me a bit easier ) , the car was made out of two seperate cars !!! DAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEDDDDD.
:rant :rant :rant :rant :rant :rant :rant
It seems the floor is 1/2 inch shorter right underneath the rear seat.
Its hard for me to express how the car is put together but I try.
Imagine : front part is engine bay and cowl with A pillar and complete floor ( almost) and second or rear part is : inner and outer rockers with B pillars / quarters and boot section.
It was slight into each other.Orig quarterpanels where shorten by 1/2 inch at the B pillar and the floor section underneath the rear seat.

Now , I am just checking what my options are. I am looking for quit some time for a 67 rolling shell thats in very good condition at a reasonble price. ( like Jeff's 67 vert ) but that will be impossible so repairing the car will be the only solution.
Because the dollar/euro exchange rate is in my favor , I am thinking of buying a full floor and seatplatform now. ( read big boxes )

So dudes , thats the story. If anyone wants to hear more , just ask so I can ventilate a bit more .

No inspection , I am in need of a new full floorpan ( us made ) and seat platform !! Not immediately !!
But I want to be sure if i buy one , its the right one.
I have been ripped off in the past by some suppliers that think that the european market is some kind of junkyard is where they can deposit their parts of poor quality.

But again , I am just looking what my options are.
Thanks for your interest, Mike !!
