Any differences in rear window seals for a 69 fastback?

I’m going to have my rear glass pulled to fix a leak and I’m going to put in a new seal in, is any one vender better than the next? I was thinking of just getting one off of ebay. By the way, I'm looking for an original drivers side rear window L-shaped molding if anyone has one.

Go with Steele Rubber, hands down the best. they are more expensive, but well worth the quality you receive for the extra funds spent.

I pulled and reinstalled my glass when the car was painted and Johnpro told me about me a trick, if you've already done this then disregard. I placed sealent inside the seal channel the window fit into in addition to around the body opening. Having the sealant inside the seal channel reduces the possiblity of water seeping between the seal and glass and dribbling in that way. It's a hellava mess to clean after the glass is installed but others have recommended this too and it worked for me, no leaks. Good luck.

I would not recommend putting any sealant between the channel, put it on the lip then after you rope it in seal between the glass and gasket with a urethane only not the liquid butyl. I have to install the b/g and w/s this weak and was trying to do another you tube video. Rich.
