Went to visit Craig and my car today.

As he talked about in a previous post he has been working on my car for me the last couple weeks while I was out of town for work. Well let me tell you he and the NorCal gang have me eternally grateful! They installed second skin and the firewall pad, the heater box, the dash pad and lots of other misc stuff!

Knotts is looking like a real possibility. Craig and I will be working on the car together this coming Saturday and then I will bring it back home and attack the interior, and button up the suspension. I'll then install the seats and carpet and take it to get aligned asap so I can get some miles on it.

With a second child on the way this is the only shot I have a realistically getting the car done this year and could not do it wihtout the NorCal StangFix crew!.

Thanks to Craig, Jeff, Mike and Abe what a great bunch of guys! :wor :wor :wor

Also dropped the seats off at the upholsterer this afternoon and should have them back by the end of the week. :thu :thu :thu :thu

It must be wonderful to have a passel of Mustang enthusiasts willing to work together in your area. I have only AZPete only, and he usually ends up drinking beer and directing me to do the work!

J/K, Pete...you're all right in my book.

Good help is hard to find. I talk to a lot of classic owners and they all say the same thing.....but are not willing to get a group going.

Mid....we gotta find another beer.....

We have a great group of knuckle draggers out here. Problem is that we're spread out over the State :rant

Justin that's great!! Looks like you just needed a little push to get it done.

Congrats on having another kid. Looks like a minivan will be in your future. :roll

David,
We're waiting for you to start yakkin about increasing the family.......

Yes, I must admit we're pretty spoiled having so many Mustangers in our neighborhood. With the likes of JeffTepper, Abraham, kbmwrs,GTSCODE, Crustycurmudgeon, myself and so many more within a 50 mile radius, we can't help but help each other. The fun part is we all know each other well enough, that we have total confidence in each other.

It is nice working on Justin's car because it is a restoration. Meaning everything is new or restored. All we're doing is just assembling a car.

Good times with good friends.

We will be in 40+ days. Or as what GTSCODE did, just flatbed your car up to my place. Keep in mind that your car will NEVER be the same after the NorCal guys have touched it.

To clarify... YOU, :Mark, are the only knuckle dragger spread out. Dan, Skip, Bob, Kyle (the FNG) - we are all within 20 minutes of each other...

You need to move. :thu

whatever....thief. I can't hep it that you're all bottom city dwellers.
