Adjusting window stops

I think I've got it figured out on the driver side what needs done with the windows. I have the vent frame adjusted to a uniform fit against the gasket. The window fits good against the vent frame but is a tad low at the top of the vent frame, and the window is too high at the back of the door, which is creating a gap at the quarter panel.

If I rotate the window, ie, pull up on the front, and push down on the back, the window fits great against the seal.

But it won't stay that way when I roll the window down and back up again.

I've tried adjusting the stop on the front, where there is a vertical slit with a tab that you slide up and down and at the back where you access the stop from the rear of the door under the rubber cover plate. The rear stop doesn't seem to give me the option of lowering it further to keep the rear of the window from going up too high.

Is there any other adjustment to window height?

The nuts on the inside face of the door all seem to be for the regulator with no adjustment in them, and there are nuts for the window channels with adjustment in and out which adjusts window tilt, but I can't find anything other than the stops that adjust window height.

This is kicking my ass right now.

Yes. The short "track" where the rear arm of the regulator attaches has an adjustment feature that plays into your window height position.

+1. the "third arm" as its called when adjusted will change the tilt front to rear on the glass. also, dont be afraid to lengthen a slot a little to get what you need in adjustments. sometimes with repop parts or old worn originals, there just isnt enough adjustment figured in from the factory.

Thanks guys, I'll have a lot at that. Seems as though the tilt is the final adjustment I need to make. I adjust the vent frame and tighten it down, but with the tilt off, the window pushed the vent frame away from where I want it.
