Aaaargh! [minor rant in honor of Andy Rooney's passing]...

Don't you just hate it when...

... your several hundred dollar part order is rendered uninstallable by a missing $4.50 mounting hardware kit?

I mean really, if you are going to sell a "69 to 70 bolt in window hardware conversion kit" for $239, don't you think it should contain the necessary bolts and grommets to make it usable? After all, since it is marketed specifically as a conversion, you know the owner of a 69 will not have them!

Okay, rant off. But once again the personal text "Waiting for parts..." proves all too true.

I hear ya, same deal here with the 200 & change fold down seat trim kit, you would figure it would include the $10 pack of screws

That sux. I hate it when that happens. What was missing from the "conversion"?

The grommets and bolts that actually pass through the glass. The conversion hardware only includes the brackets and pads that sandwich the glass, but without the grommets and bolts (which the 69 never had) you can not attach the brackets to the glass.
