Update.

Lots of small things done this weekend. I have came to the full realization that I am going to have to use a week of vacation to make some serious headway to meet my deadline.

I did get the fab'd floor pans & toe boards all installed and smoothed:

The holes in the toe boards are sleeved access ports to the body to frame bolt:

I cleaned up the rockers some and re-installed them. Blended in:

I finished up the rear sheet metal and welded in some vertical braces to help stiffen that wide span of metal. Those welds will not get smoothed because they are hidden by the inner cab panel:

Next I cut out some more rot from the lower, passenger side cowl and formed a new patch. Welded & smoothed. I also reinstalled the passenger rocker and blended the patch into the rocker. That rocker panel needs some more work - it's lumpier than a fat girls thigh:

Moved up to the firewall and started filling holes. I have about 30 or so left to do... ugh. I did form & roll the trans tunnel lip as well:

Getting a bit lazy now aren't you?
 
Did you form the parallel rolls in the floor boards yourself, or did the sheet metal come like that? If you did make the rolls, how did you do it? Just curious...

These are the indentations in the flat sheet metal that are put there for stiffening, IIRC.

Yes, I rolled those beads into the sheet metal. I have a Woodward Fab beadroller now. Those were rolled with a 1/4" die set.

think about this: i was gonna make a cupholder unit in the 36 mounted on two pieces of solid rod that ran down each side of the tunnel. those would slip fit into two small pieces of tubing welded to the tunnel/floor. that way i could easily remove them when i didn't need them. kinda gives you an option, when there's not alot of legroom, stationary cupholders tend to get in the way at times...
 
I meant actually recessing a cupped pocket in the deeper portion of the trans tunnel - up near the front.

Just a thought. I may not do it.
