Goofing around ebay and found a short style shelby hood. I've always liked them, but always wondered what it would look like.

I want to use a front nose like Rusty did.

67 Shelby Hood looks much better, IMHO, especially the ones with the vents.

I like the 68. I've always thought the 68 Shelby was mean looking. If they made one that would work with my E nose, I'd be buying one.

Hi, I would use whatever was correct for your year. Plus, I like the looks of a 67 better.

I think they scream muscle.

I would love to have a " 67 style with the vents " hood on my car .....for sure. :thu :thu :thu

I don't see a '67 Shelby hood.

I see a '68 Shelby hood and a '67 turn signal vented hood.

The '67 Shelby hood had a scoop over the engine area (air cleaner).

I figured everyone knew what the 67 shelby hood looked like :roll So I didn't post a pic of it.

Thanks, I had been trying to find some pics of the hood.

it's good to get other opinions but you gotta do what you want. I do like the 67 Shelby, it's a great looking car. The 68 is less "restomodded" and very cool IMHO. I personally don't think it matters what year the car is when it's customized, you can mix years as long as it is tasteful. If I was made of money I'd buy one of those 68 hoods and modify to fit my car...
