65 coupe for $800

I just made a deal to buy this 65 for $800...
289 2V 3-speed, fairly solid. been sitting in a barn in KY since 83.

the guy who has it, originally was told it was a 4 speed with a 9" and he was going to pull the drive train for a 66 he is building. He offered the shell to me for $300. When he picked it up he found it was a 3 speed with 8" so he doesn't want it. I was going to use it for parts for the Falcon. Now he offered it to me as is for $800. I said sure but don't know that I want to part it out.
I just couldn't pass it up. I don't think it has a title...

I don't think so, it looks untouched. It's been repainted but pretty solid underneath. I don't think it has much if any filler in it.

ahhh, I got it! yes it could be a driver pretty easy. The rad support and aprons are trashed and shock towers are rusty around the bottom so it would be a great candidate for MII conversion. Motor looks mostly original (stock). Didn't think to try and turn it over...
