1973 Mach1

alot of people don't like the "big" cars from 71-73. i have a soft spot for them as this is the one i drove in h.s.

That was a nice looking car! I'm not fond of the big ones either, but they still look like fun. :10

I'm seriously considering just selling my 66 coupe or parting it out. We moved to this town back in Feb 2010 and I have yet to find a job. At this rate, I won't ever have the funds to fix my coupe and whats the point of having it if it will be in the garge to collect rust and dust. :po

There was a light blue 73 Mach 1 a couple miles from my house that sat outside a garage for 15 years cause the guy refused to sell it. he didnt plan on fixing it either. Rusted completly away. Cars been gone for about a year now.

Because if you want a builder, it will most likely cost more or be in worse shape next time around plus you still can do a little at a time now. If you plan on saving and buying a complete driver, that is different and you could find a deal now and then.

Or, get off here and look for work....... :lol :lol :lol :lol

LOL I do look! Hell I even tried McDonald's. :ep I *might* get lucky though. I was cruising job listings and MAACO down the road is hiring. No exp required, will train. :vic

Good luck on the looking in todays world.

Oh my... get your mind out of the gutter! :craz

I went down to Maaco, filled out the application, sat around and talked with the guy for a bit. Said to give him a few days (he's had like 10 people show interest) but to give him call on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I need all the luck I can get.

I'd drive it. I like the paint, not sure about the silver stripe though. It's pretty much the same colors and scheme I was gonna do on my 68. Wheels a little on the big side though

Yeah, change the wheels & steering wheel & it would totally change the look of the car. i see the big "blingy" wheels on these models alot for some reason.
