i am getting ready to install a 1 piece floor in my 67 conv. is there any detailed info on the web that shows how this is done? I am concerned about actually getting the panel into place under the inner rockers & over the frame extensions/trans tunnel frame also over the rear torque boxes. I have seen the floors after they have already ben installed but nowhere have i found info on the actual process.
it seems like you have to manipulate the hell out of the metal to get it in place.
also I am doing this on the floor, no rotisserie available

if anyone has a video of a floor going in, that would be real helpful.

I would be interested in the links as well or your build thread. I purchased my floor pan halfs quite a few years ago from Docs Mustangs. He was a regular on the VMF, but I haven't heard from him or seen him in years.

Is Doc around, anyone have info on Doc? Did he sell the business or does Doc still own it? Here is a website that I think is his:

Why would you go in from the bottom? You have a convertible. I took mine in through the windshield opening on my fastback.

I never said I was going through the bottom, I said you have to get the floor under the inner rockers & over the frame extensions.
the convertible has the additional inner rockers to contend with unlike the coupe & fastback

It seems to me that the only way with a 'vert is to go in from the bottom since the floor pan meets up to the bottom of the inner rocker panels. the inners being 2-1/2" - 3" wide would make for some major deformation to get in from above. I'd be inclined to drill out the spot welds for the floor supports and remove them, install the floor from beneath, then re install the floor suports.
