Here is where I started

Added through floor subframe connectors (with stringers) to tie the rear torque boxes and rockers to the front k member. Then sandblasted and painted the chassis.

Sliced the lower front fender quarters and welded in a patch which matches the curve of the valence. Added studs to make assembly easier.

Real nice work. Does this affect the original position of the seats, or is it temporary bracing?

Bob it kind of looks to me like he has them marked to drill and mount the seats to them.

Yes, they are pre drilled and measured to bolt the 65 seat tracks right in. I tried the late model seats but were too tall, as well as I am trying to make the interior look as period correct as possible including sweep gauge display and 65 style seats. That picture was not the finished product, everything was just tacked in at the time

Yes, I did shave the eyebrows and smoothed all the dash holes with the welder as to not have to deal with a dashpad. Have read too many disgruntled posts on here and VMF about repro pads. I really like how it turned out. Falcon-esque someone commented.
