Holley sells Scott Drake and Brothers Trucks to CJ Pony Parts

Holley has had financial issues for years. I'm sure they needed the cash. Its wild how companies with lots of sales mismanage themselves so badly and must file for Bankruptcy, get new investors to bail them out or both. I think its partly due to the laws which allow companies to file ch11 and continue on that frees people up to keep running them into the ground.

Ugh…I didn’t think it could get any worse. Either CJ will improve the quality and make themselves look good or raise prices to pay for the purchase and see where they can cut more corners.

Most of these companies ran fine before they were bought by private equity firms. They should be outlawed somehow, or better barriers to prevent them from sucking all the wealth out of them to then go bankrupt.

Drake is a pretty big hot or miss on quality. With parts ranging to high quality Us made parts to very poor overseas knockoff and everything in between. IT is however probably the single biggest source of parts for Classic Mustangs. I hope CJ works to k prove it and not run it into the ground. I also have to wonder how this will impact other Mustang parts houses that will now have to pay CJ blood money for the parts.
