Hi. I'm new to the site so I don't know anyone. But my amigo and his son were parked next to a Nightmist Blue '67 Fastback with a StangFix tag on the fender apron. I was nosing around to see if could figure out who it belonged to over here. And I just noticed that @kb3 was parked next the '67. My friend was there with a '69 Camaro and his son had the Orange C10 that was parked next to the '67.

Hey, welcome! The 67 fastback belongs to KBMWRS (Michael), but watch out of that guy. The 65 in my profile pic belongs to my son, kb4. I had the 68 Cougar at the show. Also in attendance was JeffTepper with his red convertible Cougar and Del65 with a borrowed Mercury Cyclone.

Are you in the Modesto area?

The green Cougar is yours. Nice. I'm on SF Peninsula. Hopefully I get my Mustang back on the road in time for next year. I didn't build it to show. But I want to drive it in the cruise. LOL

Our "local" group of Stangfixers covers from Modesto to Sacramento all the way over to the Bay Area down to San Jose/Morgan Hill area. Looking forward to meeting up. We meet up several times a year, including the Modesto Graffiti event.

Hey why am I being dragged into this fiasco of a forum?:p:p:p:p

Yeah That was my old crate.

Because you literally put a StangFix tag on your Mustang. Was I right about it being Nightmist Blue? I'm prepping mine for paint and already bought the base, so there's no turning back now.

Mike doesn't know what color his car is, he is color blind. He calls my sons fastback purple!

There are a number of events, annual and more frequent in the Bay Area. In the South Bay, there is an annual local Cruise for a Cause on the 2nd Sunday of September in downtown Willow Glen (San Jose). Big turn out and its a fund raiser for the Second Harvest Food Bank hosted by the local Goombahs Car Club. A few hundred cars usually show up and many are drool worthy! Guests of Honor in the past have included Gene Winfiield and Dave Kindig. Not sure who might be coming this year.

There is a local group called the Saturday Night Cruisers who cruise through downtown Los Gatos, Campbell, Santana Row, and Willow Glen that gather most Saturday evenings. Schedule conflicts prevent me from participating regularly.

We also have a few Cars and Coffee events each month:
1st Sunday of every month is the Car Alliance cruise in event at the B of A parking lot in Willow Glen
2nd Saturday of every month is Ronnie's Morning Get Together at the Home Church parking lot on Winchester in Campbell

Again there are others that I do not attend regularly due to schedule conflicts.
Those include one at the Hobby Lobby parking lot 3rd Sunday of the month, off of 101 on Cochrane in Morgan Hill and
one the 1st Saturday of every month in Mt View on Charleston off of 101 and Rengstorff

@JeffTepper I'll be keeping my out for some cruises once I get paint on her. I don't mind driving it as rolling project. But right now it's in primer without trim. Life events put her on hold for a few years but I'm back to it now though.

Wanna see something funny? They edited your response. They replaced references to StangFix to vintage-mustang, in the post and in the link. I think they did it for the whole forum.
