Wanted: 67/68 Instrument bezel card board tube for turn signal light

For a 67/68 Need 1. The card board tube with the rubber seal on the end that goes over the turn signal light. Like the one in the pic. I think they are both the same, I'm missing the left one. The tube from the Hi-Beam light would also work(just needs to be cut shorter.

Oh boy, the Internet connection in Afghanistan is bad.

As KBMWRS mentioned, you can use PVC pipe from any home repair store. Just make sure the inner diameter matches what you need. The bulb housings will fit better in the PVC rather than cardboard.

Ummm...the cardboard tubes on the 66 are about 1/2" in diameter, my TP rolls are well over an inch in diameter.

Well the tubes in the cluster of my 66 were missing, I found the tubes from some feminine products worked perfectly.

Uhhhhhh, how about just slicing the TP roll down the middle and make the tube smaller? o_O

That give me a flashback to what I found on my 65Fb when I bought it from the original owner. The hi-Tech(at the time in your JC Whitney catalog) Toilet Paper oil filter system. The first thing I did was get that off the car. Besides I wasn't sure if I should use single ply, 2 ply, scented, unscented, etc. He did love his JCW catalog, I'm still running the Judson Magneto Coil that was on it and actually have a spare one that he took off a friends car when it was wrecked.

Going to look into using a rocket tube or the ladies product. Thanks for the suggestions. So are the LED bulbs really worth it?

I think so...they are sooooo much brighter than the old incandescents. And you can pick the color you want....they are plug and play.
When I had my gauges out I replace the old bulbs (with new ones) and painted the panel base a fresh coat of gloss white. Upon reinstallation nighttime lighted gauges were still barely visible. Bought and replaced the bulbs with LEDs.....all gauges visible at nights. I got the blue color.
Be careful of the color you pick if you plan on re-using the blue plastic bulbs covers.....
