Windshield washer problem..non-Mustang
F-250 WW barely sprays or rather spits.

I have washed out the reservoir with hot water. Filled it with hot water and siphoned it out. Bits of blue (ww fluid color) slime came out. I'm sure there is more in there and most probably plugging up the pump and or washer nozzles.

Anyone have advice/suggestions on how to clean out the system? Vinegar? Soap water?

Thanks

Pull the spray nozzles, they’re probably clogged. I had to replace the ones on the truck at work. I pulled them and checked to make sure I still getting fluid. You can take a toothpick and see you can unclog the nozzle.

I have found a sewing needle works best for clearing the spray nozzles. Change the rubber lines to the spray nozzles, while you are there. If some water is coming through the lines, the pump should be ok.

soda solution? BTW you probably don't use it often so filled it up with distilled water. Or rain water. My cents.
