Who's watching the olympics?

Been up since 5:30am watching the men's cycling road race. Go USA! What sport are you going to watch this year?
 
I've been up since 6 watching care bears!

I usually don't get into the Olympics. if I watch at all it would be women's gymnastics, or beach volleyball. But then I'm not watching it for the sport.
 
Watched some of the opening stuff last night. But we will be interested in swimming stuff and water polo.

I'll be watching a number of sports later on, especially gymnastics and diving. Tried to watch the opening ceremony, which I usually love, but it was so darn boring this time. I recorded it so I can flip through it today to catch the highlights.
 
i'm gonna try & catch some of the womens track & field. saw on the news the other night where one of the mid-east countries are sending women for the first time, but will be running in full clothing with the headgear etc to comply with islamic law. should be a hoot to watch!
 
Just read on msn homepage that Phelps got smoked in his first matchup with his team mate---maybe one too many hits on the ole bong???
 
Belgium had high hopes for a medal in road cycling but.....never mind .....
For tennis , we have Kim Clijsters , she should have a real chance , if she can stayed focused.
For high jump , we have Tia Hellebaut , former european champion.
Atletics , we have the twin brothers Borl

No, he's just too old and didn't train long enough for this Olympics.

And he doesn't have the same drive--one of the swimmers on the 4x100 relay is 36--now that is old for a olympic swimmer!
