OK, I'm going 2.5 exhaust into the mufflers and 2.25 out. Thus my tips are 2.25. Here are
the best 3 candidates I could find.

1st two =Borla,
2nd two=Mach1 rolled.
3rd two=Mach1 non rolled.

The Borlas do not fill the cutout very well. Looks too modern of a tip. I kinda like the non rolled
Mach1's because the inside diameter of the outlet opening is bigger. The rolled Mach1 seem almost too pinched looking because of the rolled edge.

Borla

Depends on the look you are going for.

The Borla's are completely not in the running at all for me out of the three. Sorry to any of you that are voting for the Borla's no offense was intended.

The Mach 1 rolled look really elegant and I think they would be the direction I would go in.

The Mach 1 non rolled look really bad a$$ but kind of have a little bit of a unfinished look to them but I like these as well.

I voted for the Mach 1 rolled.

I voted for the mach 1 rolled. I don't have a problem with the look of the ones not rolled, but I know after a few years of driving the car the lip edge will get nasty whereas the rolled tip is easier to keep clean/polished looking.

I think the non rolled Mach 1 tips are the best for the vintage look.....plus the opening is larger, more aggressive. I would paint the inside a flat black before installing. A bit of steal wool will clean the tip edge real easy but first, it must get driven.........

i would have to go with the rolled mach tips. with the slight eyebrow on the valance, the rolled tips seem to be a better match. devil's in the details!

I say the coffee can tips would be best, but otherwise go for the non-rolled Mach 1s. Pete is right, they look more aggressive.

And don't forget that like me (but in a different hemisphere), you live in a part of the world where you can wear shorts 365 days a year and the non rolled tips will take some bark off your shins eventually.
Those that are rugged up like the Michelin man all year wont have this problem, but then they cant drive much either.

How in the heck would you get you shins that close to the tucked in tips in his picture unless you were........woops, cannot say that stuff here....

Word of caution here, be VERY CAREFUL with the aftermarket chrome plated 70 mach tips. I have the chrome plated rolled 70 tips and they pitted within a year of very occasional driving. :cry If you are gonna get the mach tips, make sure you fork over the extra $$ for the stainless version. You won't be sorry!

Craig,
I voted for the mach 1 non-rolled , because they are a bit agressive and matches your engine which is also agressive . IMHO.

non-rolled , rolled , in that order. Borla no , !!

My vote is for the Mach1 non-rolled, not that my opinion means squat around here :eek:mg
