Tinted Vent Glass

I have the green tinted glass for my '65 fastback. As for my vent windows, one side is Carlite Sun-X and the other is PPG Solex. I know the Carlite Sun-X was what Ford primarily used, but was the PPG Solex also used, or it is just a reproduction piece?

in all my years doing glass, i never saw anything but carlite coming out of the factory until a few yrs ago. the ppg solex was probably a period replacement, maybe late 60's-early 70's... the "solex" label, unless it was reinstituted, hasnt been around in a while. ppg & lof were the major suppliers for the gm factories. chrysler had safeguard.

Carlite was the only supplier, but there where a lot of other company's making replacement glass such as LOF and PPG, just like they are doing for the newer cars.
