StangFix... New look.... new features.

While I'm not exactly a web designer, I have to complain about the color scheme. I just don't like it. It's not super easy to read, and I liked the old scheme. I also think the menu bar looks rather plain. I think buttons or boxes or something would look a little smoother.

Just some constructive criticism:)

I have to agree. The gray background reduces the contrast of the text. I actually preferred the original scheme. Oh well, it's not like I have I vote that counts, does it?

Unlike all the suckups, I think this blows

the old one right outta the water :tigg

Thanks everyone,

While some may have preferred the old look, it was the default theme for SMF (the forum software) and used by every upstart out there.

Not acceptable for StangFix any longer.

This theme is unique. I found one that I liked the basic color scheme and modified about 50% of the css by trial and error. Some of you were on line while it was happening and know there was some ugly moments :rofl

Sluggo, just thought i'd let you know that there seams to be a lot of flaws with IE8 that i noticed. Like double text, and things out of the boxes. I now switched to google chrome, and it seems perfect.

here is a screen shot, just in case that helps with anything. I also had some posting issues with IE8, every thing is smooth now with chrome

If you use ie8 turn on compatability mode. Microsoft wrote ie8 to some kind of fictional web standards.

Interesting how they knew it was incompatible enough to warrant a "compatibility mode" :conf

I just looked at it in ie8 and see what you are talking about. It's the highslide image resize it's having trouble with.

I added stangfix to the compatible list and it worked fine.

Nice how they try to make you think it's the site that's not compatible.

I like the new color scheme, I also liked the old one. I guess there was no grabber orange option (thank god!)
