He was very protective of the car. A guy told his kids, like four or five of them to stand beside the car (which 5 kids damn near blocked the whole thing) the girl standing in the middle, probably ten years old or so, leaned against the car like some model or something and spreads her arms out and puts her hands on the car. My eyes got really big and he just about flipped. "Dad, she touched the car" The father quickly told them not to touch the car. After they walked away he said "I'm gonna go make sure they didnt scratch it". I grabbed a rag and quick detailer for the hand prints, he kept moving around in the light making sure I got them all. He was upset, then I told him they were not any worse than the fingerprints he had left all over the passenger side door handle from the pizza grease on his hands (he wiped his hands on his shirt when we got read to leave). When we were driving home he told me he was gonna polish the plaque when we got home, in case he got it dirty.

Wasn't he kinda uninterested in the car when I first met you clowns? I'm glad he's getting into it.

LoL. You're going to have to bring him to OKC next year Rick so we can meet him.

He probably wouldn't talk with people around. He has probably said 10 words the 4 or 5 times he's met the Sluggo clan.

yeah, he has come around on the car. He had asked before if he could help work on it, but I know his attention span is about 10 minutes on a good day, so I would say maybe later and work on it while he was at his moms house. He asked me on the way home if I was gonna work on it when we got home. Still getting some pump/belt noise when its not warmed up. I was trying to explain it to him on the drive home.
