It's done in UltraLeather with cut pile carpet. King Kovers in Hayward did the work. Very happy.

It's black cut pile and not a kit. My upholsterer said the same thing others have said about the kits on the market-they are really cheap and fade very quickly.

Thanks for the reply Stan. I have one of those wheels...a classic Grant, the stain is lighter on mine than yours, it's a semi-decent knock off of the Nardi except the finger divits are too deep on the Grant.

I did a lot of research before buying the Grant. One of the factors that I liked about the grant was the finger divits. I have large hands and it fit perfectly. Actually, the Nardi was too small of a diameter for me.

Stan,

Did 65-66 2+2's have carpet glued to the bottoms of the large rear FG side panels? I believe they did as there were glue marks on my panels. I noticed that you decided not to use carpet in this area.

Good catch Dave! That was decision #4,562 for my car. LOL My upholsterer had never done a Mustang (He had done a ton of hot rods) so he went into the job without any preconceived ideas. He asked me a ton of questions which forced me to rethink about how the factory had done the original interior.

amazing..what seats are they. did they even re-skin the pony door panels in the same as the seats. did he also cover the inner door skin also?

They are '93 Mustang seats without the headrests. We redesigned the door panel pleats to match the angle of the A pillar and covered them with the Ultraleather.
On a side note, at our show Sunday, I was parked next to '11 GT that one of the employees from the local Ford dealership. After sitting in my car, he called the leather seats in the 11 "cardboard". LOL
