Hell Bent for Speed
I'm going to be traveling for work, to Kentucky, tomorrow and Thursday - so I won't have access to the Fix and grace everyone with my presence...

Everyone, my apologies. Be strong and God speed. :boohoo

Sheet, we didn't miss you over the long weekend...what makes you think it'll be any different?

Just remember, when in Kentucky do not, I repeat....DO NOT pick up the bar of soap :yikes

Kentucky, why in the hell would anyone want to go there. Its almost as bad as Kansas! :gobp

He's looking for scoop admirers. :3sum

Hey now! I'm in Kentucky!!! :bash and there is no banjo music...

Where in Kentucky are you going? Anywhere near Bowling Green, Lunch (or dinner) is on me if your close!

Bummer, no that's pretty far North East of me, maybe 3 hours drive. Nice area though, Eastern Kentucky does have more of the actual "hillbilly's" because there isn't much else there except the hills but it's pretty. A little South of Stanford in Somerset, where the big cruise is every 4th Saturday, 1000+ cars and it's on Cumberland Lake. Don't know much more about the area.

That's "local" to me, and I'd offer you lunch, but it's still a couple hours away. Local ain't too local here in the sticks :rofl

Thanks guys, but I think my time is going to be pretty busy. We are doing a final punch on a new retirement home and only have basically Wed & 1/2 of Thurs to get it done. Late night wednesday for sure.

too bad man, would have been cool to get together. Maybe another time!

You're lucky Craig, it would have left a scar that would make any psychiatrist rich.

I apologize for the Kentucky comment.

Not really :run

No problem. I was born in the burbs of Chicago and lived there most of my life. I love living in Kentucky now but it took some time to adjust!

Coming from Shecago, was it hard to adjust to friendly, caring neighbors? The kind that'll fix a flat tire and then offer you lunch or drop what they're doing to come down to see the giant large mouth bass you just caught! The type of people that when you're outside shooting a pistol, the neighbors drop by with all kinds of shotguns, semi-autos and explosives so you can spend the entire day having loads of fun!

It's tough living in the sticks :nice

yeah, that and the SLOW pace of it will get done when I get around to it and no sooner...

I always wondered about southerners being slow, then when I was in Houston I noticed that Sluggo has a sign at the end of the street that says "Slow children at play"....
