Show me your tall valve covers!

I need to run tall covers on the 351 I am building and am not a fan of the current Ford Racing ones that are currently on the engine. They are nice but I am looking for more of a custom look.

What have you all got?

I'm kinda diggin' these Proform slant edge. Not crazy about the words, but I like the design.

I've got a set of these for my 351w

But I'm not feeling them now. I want something plain looking maybe fabricated. If your interested I'd sell them.

It's a Windsor, I like those covers Ryan but I'm with you I'm not a fan of the script. I am also considering fabricated, but they are just so expensive.

Why not run some billet valve cover spacers to gain the height you need and maintain a more nostalgic looking valve cover? A lot more options that way.

There seem to be endless options for suppliers of the fabbed look aluminum covers. Prices are all over as well. I had a source saved somewhere (but I can't find it right now) that offered them with or without breather hole(s). I intend to go that route myself and locate the hole(s) where I want them rather then some stock location.

Aren't you inviting twice the leak opportunity this way? I never used 'em but it would seem logical.

I really like the flexability of putting the breathers where I want them as well. I think I will powder coat them the same argent I am going to have the wheels done in.

These are the current ones I have on my 351W. I got them off ebay.

Not a 351, but these are tall covers that have the name of my friend's business (Steward Engineering) that helped me build the motors. He had 2 sets made, one for me and a set for his drag car.

Stangg, what the hell do you have going on in that engine bay? Did you custom build the chassis?
Yes, basically an overbuilt removable subframe with coilovers, adjustable uppers, fox rack, cobra brakes etc... It's pretty solid, I hope to get it on an autocross course or open track next spring.

NoNoNoNo
He bent some tubes to hold the noise up because he didn't have the cash to buy some shocktowers and inner approns !!! :stu :stu :stu
