Thursday, I went to get gas for the 2006 Mustang, and a full tank only cost $4.00!
The story goes like this: the local grocery store chain, Winn Dixie, offers gas discounts with each purchase. The more you buy, the more discount you accrue. After about 3 months of shopping, I had about $1.30/gallon discount, up to 20 gallons. With gas about $1.70, the meant the gas actually cost me $0.40! The last time I bought gas that cheap was circa 1970. The best part about this fill-up was to gas up exactly to an even dime, something that is almost impossible with the higher gas prices.
Woohoo!
