Routing of spark plug wires

What type of paint did you use? I have a spare, I suppose I could give it a go.

After scuffing the cap and retainer piece with a scotch brite pad, I shot it with plain ol' Rustoleum simi gloss paint.

I used a gloss rustoleum on both the ignition box and coil. Oh yeah !!!!

First , nice job you did !
Second , isn't there an issue about when lining up the ignition wires , you should check the firing order from your engine and make sure that those wires who fires right up after each other , not suppose to be mounted beside each other due to magnetic field they create and misfire occures????
I did read something about this fenomenen.

I read that too.... Tried both ways on my 302 with no difference. I think the quality of wires makes a difference.

Hell, the way your engine rumbles at idle, I could randomly change the firing order and no one would know if it changed or not!

You might be able to see that I have seperated wires #5 & #6 so that they are not running next to each other in this pic as previously seen with #5 crossing over #6 up by the cap.
