I'm sure some of you were not born yet, but I remember digging a trench in a friend's backyard the day President Kennedy was shot.

Please don't let this get political.

He was from a time when the country made real men. Sad to loose him.

I saw him drive by in a motorcade when he visited Chicago. The fancy car used then was a bubble top Lincoln so you could see him. They said he didn't like that fish bowl car and preferred the open top. sad.

Think of all the women that he didn't get to.

I crapped my pants. Twice. That day. I was two months old.

Sitting in first grade class when the principal sticks his head in the room and says to the teacher, "He's dead". She runs from the room crying while we all sit there wondering WTF just happened.

I wonder how far away the forehead shot came from? Still blows me away.
No..no..no, It came from behind remember ? It just so happens that this was the first time in history of firearms that a shot from above and behind made the person shot in the head suddenly recoil violently backwards. It was a magic bullet.

Make sure to pay attention to which way the perps fall when capped! We'd all be interested.

I remember the assassination of RFK more, I was 10 years old and almost done with the 4th grade. I asked my mom about it the other day and she remembers not knowing if she should take me to kindergarten that day (Walking not driving). Mom was 24 and had only been in California for 4 months, we moved from Pennsylvania July of '63. No internet, or could mom call dad at work on his cell phone.
