Rear window "Beltline" felt weatherstrip maybe... how does it attach?

So I found this in the box of extra parts prior owner gave me and the passenger outside rear missing piece is shown in photo. Question is how does this attach to metal? Adhesive or what? Looks like there is something on the metal for a stud of some type but the back of the felt strip has nothing. What do I need what do I buy as I can't find in the Virginia Classic Mustang catalogue? Is this what is called "Beltline"?

Are you referring to the interior or exterior piece? The interior one is fastened to the interior rear quarter panel via staples. I believe the exterior ones are held in via plastic push pins? Yes, after looking at my 66 shop manual, I think I'm correct that the exterior WS is infact held in by push pins which are part of the WS piece itself. WS=weather stripping.
 
It is the exterior, no push pins on mine maybe that is why it was sitting in a box... So that is what I need to order?
