Power Antenna suggestions for 65fb

fbproject

Car is getting painted so I got thinking about all the parts I needed to round up to finish it. 65 fastback with the standard hole in the passenger front fender for an antenna. Is there a good looking salvage yard solution for a power antenna? Anyone buy something off ebay that was a great fit? Pictures and problems anyone? Thanks for your help.

Don't have any pics at the moment, but I moved my antenna to the rear passenger side. I'm just using one that I bought at the local autoparts store. No problems with it.

I put a power antenna in that I bought at Murray's. With the choice in ends they gave I chose a chrome one that looks darn vintage.

Another option is to just fill in the fender hole and use one of the new modern "power antennas". This is what we did in my daughter's '67 and it worked great. We just have it in the glove box, so that it's out of site.
