Swat raided the house after there was a call he was gonna shoot himself. They found a rifle from the 1800's and they have no idea who files a complaint against him. Apparently, he's not supposed to have firearms as part of his restraining order.

It was so quiet here, you could hear the ????? well... Nothing!
One reason I left the crime ridden state of CA. when I lived in Bellflower, every hour copters flying over, and when I visit my Brother in Brentwood, I just can't sleep, to many copters flying around! If we hear them, we get the antiaircraft stuff out and the binoculars to see where the fire is.
Oh, I meant to ask, were they painted flat black? If so are you sure they were after Charlie?

I could see them up the hill. During the day I could probably see his house if I knew which one it was. It was just so stupid. I turned on the tv to the news to see what the copters were seeing.......nothing! It was dark out!
We just don't like LA. Too "big city" for all of us. Course I don't want too tiny either. I like getting to Home Depot, Taco Bell or Kohls in a few minutes rather than 30 like it is when we visit my wifes family.

While my location is listed as Charleston, I technically live over 30 miles away. I can however get to several large areas with a drive of anywhere from 15 minutes to 25 minutes. I also get to beat and bang on the cars whenever I want..no neighbors complaining on me!!! Thanks goodness for the livin' in the country...what's left of it around here. :yah
The only helicopter I get flying over is an Army helo. It's the son of the the guy that lives up the road. He likes to buzz his dad's body shop whenever he's doing his drill weekends. Of course, I never hear the all black ones whenever they come over. They're in whisper mode! Besides, I simply adjust my tin foil hat and then they can't read my mind! :roll

I live a few miles south of Memphis International Airport(Fedex, airlines, and Nat'l Guard C5 Galaxies constantly in the air) , and the largest hospital in the county is literally across the street. I have forgotten what the word quiet means.
