My son called at 330 AM this morning and informed me that our pregnant daughter-in-law had her water break. Will bring grand daughter #1 over on the way to the hospital. Everything should go well, unless she takes too long to deliver. We're supposed to be leaving for Charlotte this afternoon . . . :yah

Anyway . . . will post a pic or two in a few days. Had to share our good news with my family here.
 
I was thinking about the baby delivery timing the other day . . . my bday was last week and I was sorta expecting her to arrive then. When that didn't happen I began thinking she might be delivered on the 17th which would also be grand. I know of one other guy (my exact age) who was born on the 17th and he has a Mustang resto biz (he did my Mach body repairs). Said it gives a boost to his brand. Hope it doesn't take another fourteen hours of labor though. My DIL is tough but that's a lot to ask.
 
Baby is here . . . Sofia Grace. Mom and baby doing well. Details as they become known.
 
Thanks, everyone. A new grand child really puts things in perspective for you. This is us at the hospital.
