Has anyone had any trouble with aftermarket tach working as it should after installing the Pertronix system ??

PerTronix/ Tach issues ??

Which system? I know that the tach reads about 200 rpm lower with the Petronix I.
Ignitor II.....installed a while back and now my Sun Pro tach doesn't register RPM's ??
Never heard about this one. I just bought a new dizzy with the Ignitor III. Have to remember this one.

The only time I've had a problem with my little column mounted mini tach is when I made a crappy connection to the + side of the coil, which is a Pertronix chrome Flamethrower. It bounced around pretty good then. Once I managed to use the crimping tool correctly, no problems. Oh yeah, the car wouldn't run so good neither. Amazing what making and breaking contact with the coil can do to a lovely Sunday ride.
