No, not really. The committee was composed of National Head Judges, Ass't. National Head Judges, but no one from the MCA Board of Directors. Someone has to report on what these bozo's decide...

What Laurie doesn't know is that she'll have to wear a horsehair wig and a black robe to all meetings from now on.
 
Actually, there always has been at least one BOD member on that committee since I came on the BOD in 2002. It just happened that at least one of the Head Judges also was a BOD member (e.g., Wally Short, Jim Silverman). I've been on this committee since 2007 and my appointment back then was the first time that someone who wasn't a Head Judge or Assistant Head Judge was assigned to the committee. How did I get on it in the past? I asked the committee chairman (Wally Short at the time) to be placed on it. I'm also a dual Gold Card Judge and have been involved in judging since 1983.
